Curtain can raise up
The first act of the season will finally be able to be acted as all players have arrived. The scene is set on the beach, the sun, indispensable accessory is already shining, restaurants and terraces are put up. The season is going to begin and cruise ships are already there.
It looks a beautiful and rich season. The modern Art André Malraux Museum took out treasures from the twilight of its reserves, the jazzmen exercise their breath and repeat before performing in the Dixie Days and the beach huts get ready to display the photos of the exhibition which topic is the seaside from Frascati to the Palace of Regattas.
Have a nice show !

From Delacroix to Marquet
Up to 22 May
In 2004, Hélène Senn-Foulds gave her grandfather’s collection to the André Malraux Museum. Olivier Senn was a fine and sensitive art lover, fascinated by the art of his time. Among the 205 works (Courbet, Delacroix, Cobelch, Pissarro, Renoir, Monet, Sisley, Sérusier, Vallotton, Bonnard, Marquet, Matisse, Derain), there is an exceptional collection of 130 new graphic works.
The drawings of the donation have been the subject of an exhibition in three parts: in 2009, the works by Cross and in 2010, the works by Degas. In 2011, the third component of this presentation shows 64 drawings from the Senn, donation as well as 26 works by Monet and Marquet from the collections of the museum and 15 drawings and paintings by Marquet and Guillaumin from private and public collections.
